                                    The Crossiology
                                     Introduction
Because  the cross is the most important subject all over the Holy Bible , from the beginning of the book of Genesis where the Bible told us about the falling of the man from Eden Garden , God told us about the seed of the woman who " shall bruise  thy (the serpent ) head " , to the book of Revelation where we see the slained lamb and what was said about Him "for thou wast slain , and hast redeeded us to God ".
Thus, the cross has  its importance in the christian thoughts , Christ himself told Nicodemus to dedicate him the bases of the faith that " And as Moses lifted up , the serpent in the wilderness , even so must the son of man be lifted up"
But although the old nations before the inscribed laws of God these laws which prepared man's mind to comprehend the reality of the Cross , although some of them has forgotten the oral laws and began to invent various gods ,they practiced  to offer sacrifices before their gods as the faithful did before God to solve the problem of how to reconcile with the almighty power that  ruled the existence.
In the Old Testament the Cross became more clearer from generation to another until it became a real event in the New Testament , the church's fathers spoke about it and left to us a great treasure of thoughts to study about the cross.
It is obvious that the Cross in the mind of all those people based upon some hypothesis from theology , History ,Arts ,Literature Worship and many other sciences , so we have many sources for our studies about the Cross and we can depend upon all these siences to study the Crossiology. Welcome again to study the Crossiology.
