The scene of God , The Trinity
The Father , The Son , The Holy Spirit have real existence and work in the Cross.
The authority of the Father was revealed during the crucifixion process , Christ called him many times on the cross, The Son was the image of God because no man has seen God at any time , the only begotten son which was in the bosom of the father has declared him , The Holy Spirit was active in the conscience of the thief who believed , and in the gentile testimony of the officer I Peter 1: 11 said " searching what manner of time the spirit of the Christ which was in them did signify ,when it testified before hand the sufferings of Christ and the glory that should follow " .It was a direct evidence that the Holy Spirit has his part in the crucifixion process ,because he said in Hebrew 9 : 14 " How much more shall the blood of Christ , who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God purge your conscience from dead work ", the4 active of the Trinity was obvious to completion of the redemption which God has done to the mankind through Jesus Christ and the active of the Holy Spirit in concern of the Elect people .
We say to teach the simple people, it was four aspects for the cross they are the man and the Holy Trinity , our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross completed the reconciliation between man and God , The earth and the heaven .
It is clear that the obedience of Christ was not due to the earthly authorities , but due to His free will , the conversation between him and Pilate revealed this fact , the authority was higher than the authority of the kings , the princes , the judges of all the earth it was the authority of the redemption covenant , it was planned by God from the beginning " And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross having slain the enmity thereby " ( Ephesians 2:16 ) , So , " and being found in fasion as a man , he humbled himself and became obedient unto the death , even the death of the cross " ( Philippians 2 : 8 ).
"The Docetists " were one of the Genostic branches and also the Corinthians" , because they suggested that the Divinity has departed from the Lord Jesus Christ before the crucifixion , John replied them in his Gospel and in his epistles , he called them the Antichrists , and determined that Jesus Christ has come in flesh or body , because He the two united natures ( Ch., Hodge , " The Systematic Theology in the Arabic version " the nicean creed p 172 . ).
The creed of faith in the Evangelical Presbyterian Egyptian Church say :- " for our redemption He accomplished all the righteousness by His obedience, and His sacrifice on behalf of the sin of all the universe and after his death on the cross and the burial , He rose again from the tomb with His body ..... and that He is a real Divine , and a real Human united together in one person " .
